Jose Cuervo’s Evil Lair is a stylized commercial blending comedic performance with controlled, cinematic execution. Directed by Rob Langevin and produced by Tara Botwinick, the piece stars Barstool talent Dan Katz (Big Cat), Eric Sollenberger (PFT Commenter), Max, and Zach.
Shot in Chicago on the ARRI Alexa 35 with Arri Zeiss Signature Zoom lenses, the project emphasizes rich color contrast, precise exposure control, and clean product visibility. Cinematographer Gabriel Jung crafted a controlled studio lighting environment with gaffer Joel Flory and key grip Garrett Garcia, balancing narrative performance with high-end commercial polish.
