“Deep” by James Slay is a stylized crime-thriller music video that explores the seductive and dangerous world of espionage. Directed by Cydia Simone Flowers and photographed by cinematographer Gabriel C. Jung, the project was filmed on the ARRI Alexa 35 with Cooke Panchro Classic Prime lenses, giving the visuals a rich cinematic texture that blends modern music video energy with classic thriller aesthetics. Shot across industrial warehouse locations and highly stylized neon environments in Chicago, Illinois, the production features performances by Perry James Howell, Tyra Renee, Camilla Alisetta, Jerome R. Marzullo, and Sybil Berry. The film’s atmosphere is driven by bold lighting design, dynamic camera movement, and carefully crafted compositions that reflect the tension, mystery, and allure of the espionage narrative while highlighting the collaborative effort of the FlowerStudio Films production team and crew.
